David Carlos Domingos - Head of Department - Fraunhofer institute for Production Systems and Design Technology IPK Managing Director - Fraunhofer Project Center for Advanced Manufacturing @ ITA. The Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft is the leading organization for applied research in Europe. Its research activities are conducted by 74 institutes and research units at locations throughout Germany. The Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft employs a staff of more than 28,000, who work with an annual research budget of 2.6 billion euros. Of this sum, 2.2 billion euros is generated through contract research. Around 70 percent of the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft’s contract research revenue is derived from contracts with industry and from publicly financed research projects. International collaborations with excellent research partners and innovative companies around the world ensure direct access to regions of the greatest importance to present and future scientific progress and economic development. The Fraunhofer Institute for Production Systems and Design Technology IPK works on application-oriented system solutions covering the whole spectrum of industrial usage, including solutions and application in the scope of Industrie 4.0. This includes product development, production processes, maintenance of investment goods, and product recycling to design and management of manufacturing companies. We also transfer production technology solutions to areas of application outside of industry such as medicine, transport and security. Mike Jackson - Entrepreneur Success Director at Tech Nation. Mike is an Entrepreneur who built and sold his business in London and then moved to Bristol to found his own tech incubator and became an active local investor and mentor. In 2018 he took on a national role as Entrepreneur Success Director at Tech Nation responsible for rolling out a UK wide network of support for ambitious tech entrepreneurs through local activity and national growth stage and sector specific programmes.

A time to register what happened within the innovation industry in Israel, Portugal and Russia during the pandemic and understand the different models that were followed by each one, taking into consideration their unique cultures and development stages. Key Speakers: Beny Rubinstein – Advisory Board Member, Evolution.inc (“We do AI for AI”) and co-Chairman of Future of Health Summit - Israel. Beny is an accomplished hands-on intrapreneur and entrepreneur with methodical problem-solving skills, strategy consulting and Corporate Venture Capital experience. Beny has a consistent track record of success in different aspects of starting, incubating & growing new businesses including Microsoft’s first Software-as-a-Service offer (which originated Microsoft Office 365), Microsoft HealthVault – which he launched in the UK and Canada as part of Microsoft Research – Health Solutions Group – and Microsoft Azure (where he was a founding team member). Beny was also the co-founder and CEO of Acelera Partners – Microsoft’s first partner in Brazil – and invested in dozens of startups across Israel and Latin America. Beny currently advises funds and corporations on Corporate Innovation and Cloud, AI/ML and also advises AI Startups on go-to-market. He is a mentor, judge and lecturer at over 10 accelerators and entrepreneurship centers across Israel and Latin America, including MassChallenge, Product League, GreenUp City, Technion, WeWork Labs, and Gvahim Entrepreneurship Center. Anas El Arras - Founder & CEO at GrowIN - Portugal. Anas is an Entrepreneur, Investor, and world-class Executive with unique international expertise. He has gone from serving in the Royal Moroccan Air Force as a pilot to being bestowed with The Order Ouissame Alaouite from the King of Morocco for his exploits as an Aerospace Researcher in South Korea. Later on, he went from working for Fortune 500 Japanese Engineering Company - JGC Corporation - across projects in Japan, Qatar, and Indonesia to being CEO of the German Leading Supply Chain Company - V-LINE - and pioneering their investment of nearly 7 MM USD in the Middle East. Right now, Anas is running GrowIN Portugal - helping innovative startups expand and finance their operations abroad via Portugal. Alexander Uglov - Founder at The Gate Club - Russia. Paulo Cesar Alvim - Secretary of Entrepreneurship and Innovation at SEMPI, Ministério da Ciência, Tecnologia e Inovação - MCTI - Brasil He is a Civil Engineer, graduated from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Master in Information Science, graduated from the University of Brasília and has a long career managing innovation programs in different sectors of the Brazilian government. He is currently the National Secretary of Entrepreneurship and Innovation of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovations - MCTI.
