Next week, Uri Levine, one of the founders of Waze, will be in Brazil to launch his second book, The Simple Wins. This book will be available in Portuguese in regular bookstores and online stores, and the interesting thing is that it will be launched in Brazil first. Then other countries will follow.
The Simple Wins, by Uri Levine, presents a practical and straightforward perspective on entrepreneurship, innovation, and building successful startups. The book’s central thesis is that simplicity is the greatest competitive advantage of winning companies such as Google, Waze, Uber, and WhatsApp. According to Levine, simple products are easier to understand, adopt, and use, significantly increasing their chances of success.
The author emphasises that entrepreneurs should “fall in love with the problem, not the solution.” In other words, the initial focus should be on deeply understanding a real user pain point before building any product. Value creation emerges from the ability to solve meaningful problems in a clear and straightforward way.
His first book, Fall in Love with the Problem, not the Solution, was published in several countries, from China to the UK, from the USA to Brazil and all Spanish-speaking countries.
