The question that arises is: why, in such a connected world, with countless technological platforms, greater ease of travel, and a widely spoken business language, has Latin America yet to position itself as a major global platform for technology-based products and services? Why do we have so few global technology companies? Do we lack skilled people? Is international expansion so laborious that we neglect this challenge?
